Course Description

This course is designed for the officer or deputy on patrol engaging in street contacts ranging from a traffic stop to a domestic disturbance domestic, the victim of an assault or the mentally ill. It covers the essentials of understanding body language and voice variations to identify deception, along, with key indicators to help identify mental illness in a contact and methods of response.
